Hazardous materials employers are required to ensure that employees whose job functions directly affect the safe transportation of hazardous materials receive training that meets the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). This interactive course provides the General Awareness/Familiarization, Function-Specific, and Security Awareness training required under 49 CFR 172.704. When combined with your organization's required safety training, this program satisfies the DOT hazmat employee training requirements, which must be completed at least once every three years.
