Unlock Benchmark-Level Insight Into Compensation & Benefits

The 2026 Cross Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey is now open.

Today’s labor market presents both challenges and opportunities for employers. While overall hiring and employee turnover have moderated from the post-pandemic highs, competition for skilled and critical talent remains strong across many roles and industries. Employees continue to evaluate not only pay, but the full value of their total rewards, including benefits, flexibility, and long-term career support, when deciding where to work and whether to stay.

To support informed, data-driven decision-making, ASK Distribution Consulting has partnered with Industry Insights, an independent third-party research firm, to conduct the 2026 Cross-Industry Compensation & Benefits Survey.

Participants get exclusive access to comprehensive compensation and benefits data—benchmarked against Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) industry peers and more than 1,000 distribution companies across other sectors. This study delivers actionable intelligence on executive compensation (CEO, COO, CFO, and more) as well as pay and benefits for the 35 most common distributor roles across sales, warehouse, and operations.

Hundreds of distribution companies participate each year, representing nearly 10,000 locations—creating one of the most robust benchmarking datasets in the industry.

Survey participation deadline: March 31 Results available: Early May

    New for 2026: Incumbent-Based Reporting

For 2026, the survey uses an incumbent-based reporting approach, meaning organizations report compensation for individual employees rather than position-level averages. This improves accuracy and comparability across experience levels, locations, and company sizes—resulting in more meaningful and actionable benchmarking insights.
