Navigating FDA Inspections: Preparation, Execution, and Best Practices
Rosalee Del campo, ACD

An FDA inspection can define the trajectory of your organization’s compliance record, yet few teams feel truly prepared when the moment arrives. This session demystifies the inspection process and offers a practical, structured approach to navigating it with confidence. We will explore what prompts an FDA inspection, the types of inspections you may encounter, and the expectations investigators bring to your facility. Attendees will learn how to build inspection readiness through documentation organization, staff preparation, and internal audit practices. The presentation also outlines effective strategies for managing interactions with investigators, responding to requests, and maintaining compliance throughout the inspection. Participants will leave with a clear framework and actionable steps to support a smooth, well-managed inspection experience.

Decoding Regulations: Compliance 101
Rosalee Del campo, ACD, and Nicholas Breslin, ACD

This introductory session provides chemical distributors with a clear foundation in compliance across key regulatory agencies, including EPA, OSHA, DOT, FDA, and DHS. Attendees will gain an overview of today’s fast-moving regulatory landscape, core compliance responsibilities, and practical tools and government resources that help companies track updates and maintain strong, sustainable programs.

The session also offers a concise, practical walkthrough on how to read a regulation—where to find key requirements, how to interpret definitions and scope, how to determine applicability, and how to identify compliance triggers, deadlines, and recordkeeping obligations. Participants will leave with greater confidence in navigating regulatory text and understanding their obligations.
