  • Thursday, October 23, 2025 | 2:00 - 4:30 pm (ET) |Session 2: Function Specific and Security Awareness Training

 All shippers of hazardous materials are required to train all their hazmat employees (as defined at 49 CFR 172.8). In this interactive training on the rules governing the transportation of hazardous materials, participants will receive general awareness, function-specific, and general security awareness training for shippers, as required in 49 CFR 172.700. Coupled with a facility’s safety training, this program will meet the requirements for a 3-year certification of training.
